Teres Carducci

Teres is our 2019 scholarship winner. She spent most of her adult life serving her family as a proud mother and has always wanted to be a police officer. Teres finally decided to chase her dream. She took it upon herself to put herself through the police academy at MTC and applied for our scholarship once she learned about it. She successfully graduated, passed the state exam, and was hired by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Aaron Modrow

Aaron Modrow (pictured with his wife Brooke) earned a full scholarship to the MTC Police Academy after graduating from the Bayside College of Ministry and Leadership at the Bayside Community Church in Bradenton. Aaron has taken his education and leadership skills to his new career.Aaron is a now a proud member of the Sarasota Police Department as a Police Officer.

Samuel "Cody" Ebeling

Cody has been a long time resident of Manatee County and a graduate of Southeast High School. Cody earned a Bachelors Degree in Criminology from Florida State University. He was selected as a Tanya Clavey Scholarship recipient in 2014 upon enrollment into Manatee County’s Law Enforcement Academy. After just four years with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, Cody was promoted to his current detective position in their Criminal Investigation Division.

Mano Laurent

The first ever recipient of the Tanya Clavey Memorial Foundation scholarship, Mano is a PHS and USF graduate with a Bachelors Degree. He accomplished his education and his dream job as a young single father. Mano is now proudly serving the citizens of Bradenton as a Police Officer.
